How Soon Should You Preserve Your Wedding Bouquet?
Your wedding bouquet is one of the most meaningful details from your day, and many couples wonder how long they can wait before starting wedding bouquet preservation. The answer is simple: timing matters.
Fresh flowers create the best results for pressed floral preservation. As time passes, flowers begin to wilt, lose color, and change shape. Preserving your bouquet sooner helps maintain its beauty and allows for a more refined final design.
When Should You Send Your Bouquet?
Ideally, your flowers should arrive to our studio within 2 to 5 days after your wedding. During this time, keep your bouquet in water, store it in a cool space, and avoid direct sunlight.
This short window ensures your flowers can be properly preserved and transformed into a lasting keepsake.
What If You Wait Too Long?
If your bouquet sits out too long, it may begin to wilt or discolor. While some flowers can still be preserved, the final result may not reflect your bouquet at its best.
If you are booking after your wedding, you can always text us a photo of your flowers in their current state to confirm if preservation is still a good investment. You can reach us at (845) 202-0566.
