what you should know as a hudson stems bride:

WHERES MY BOUQUET?

Wondering where we are in our mock-up queue? You’re in the right place!

We design in calendar order based on when your flowers arrived. Bookmark this page to follow along and see which arrival week we’re currently working through.

everything you need to know about our turnaround time

What mock-ups are you currently working on?

We are currently working through flowers received:

The Second Week of July (2026)

How do I know what week I'm in?

Your timeline begins on the date your flowers arrived at Hudson Stems, not your wedding date, order date, or the date you shipped your bouquet.

You can find your delivery date in your tracking information or in the arrival confirmation text we sent when your flowers reached our studio.

My arrival week is listed above. When will I get my mock-up?

If your arrival week is listed above, that means your flowers are currently within the group our design team is working through!

Due to the nature of our work and the seasonality of wedding flowers, it can sometimes take us up to two working weeks to complete one calendar week of arrivals. So if you see your week listed for a little longer than expected, please don't worry — we're still working our way through it!

If you notice that we've moved past your calendar week and you still haven't received your mock-up, please kindly reach out to us. Chances are, we've already tried to contact you and our messages may simply be getting lost in cyberspace.

We also recommend checking your texts and spam/junk folders for messages from 845-202-0566.

The page has moved PAST my arrival week and I haven't received anything. What should I do?

First: stay calm! 🤍 There may be a very simple explanation.

Please check your text messages and spam/junk folders first. We may already be trying to reach you about your order.

Hudson Stems texts from 845-202-0566, so we recommend saving our number in your phone.

If you still don't see anything from us and this page shows that we've moved past your arrival week, please give us a call. We absolutely want to hear from you so our team can look into your order.

Do you send updates while my flowers are being preserved?

We do not typically send individual progress updates between confirming that your flowers arrived and sending your first mock-up.

Once your flowers are preserved and fully dry, they are safely stored while awaiting their place in our design calendar. There often isn't a meaningful update to provide during this stage.

This page was created so you can follow along with our progress without needing to email us for routine status updates.

Why don't you provide updates along the way?

Once your flowers arrive at our studio, we confirm that they’ve been received and begin the preservation process. From there, your flowers are carefully dried and safely stored until we reach their calendar week for design.

During that time, there often simply isn’t a meaningful update to provide — your flowers are safe, preserved, and awaiting design. Rather than sending automated “still waiting” updates, we’ve created this page so you can see exactly where our team is currently working within our calendar.

If we ever have a concern about your flowers or need something from you, we will reach out. Otherwise, the next exciting update you can expect from us is your design mock-up!

We're getting close to my week. Can you tell me exactly what day I'll receive my mock-up?

We aren't able to provide an exact day.

While we work through orders by calendar week, every bouquet is different. One design may take significantly longer than another, and several members of our team are working on designs at the same time.

The weekly tracker above is the most accurate way to know where we currently are.

When should I contact Hudson Stems?

Here's the easiest rule:

We haven't reached your week yet: No need to check in — your flowers are safely awaiting design.

We're currently working through your week: We're working on it! Keep an eye on your texts for your mock-up.

We've moved past your week: Check your texts and spam/junk folders for a message from 845-202-0566. If you don't see one, stay calm — but please give us a call so we can look into it.

We know how special these flowers are, and we hope having a window into our weekly design calendar makes the waiting period a little easier.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW:

No news is good news.

If we need anything, we’ll reach out.

Your flowers are safe.

Your flowers get pressed right away. They’re either actively drying or safely awaiting design.

Follow your arrival week

They’re either actively drying or safely awaiting design.

Our turnaround time ranges from 10–24 weeks from the date we receive your flowers and includes preservation, design, approval, and finishing.

Because floral preservation is highly seasonal, bouquets received during our busiest months, August through November, may experience longer turnaround times.

What should I expect during the mock up process?

mock UPS

What is a mock-up?

Your mock-up is a photo of your preserved flowers arranged in your selected design before your piece is permanently framed. This is your opportunity to review your design and request any edits.

Do all pieces receive a mock-up?

All framed pieces receive a mock-up before finishing. Certain smaller add-ons, including necklaces and ornaments, do not receive mock-ups.

Can I request changes & if so how long will they take?

Absolutely! We welcome thoughtful feedback and want you to love your finished piece. We can adjust placement, balance, greenery, and other design details within the natural limitations of your preserved flowers.

Please allow a minimum of 7 business days per round of edits. Each adjustment is completed carefully by hand, and moving one flower can sometimes require surrounding flowers to shift as well.

Why do my flowers look different from my original bouquet?

Pressing naturally changes the color, shape, texture, and size of flowers. Some flowers expand, others shrink, and certain varieties can change color significantly. These variations are a natural part of pressed floral preservation.

Can you change the colors?

If you selected color correction, we can restore and enhance certain tones. However, color correction does have limitations & cannot make preserved flowers look exactly as they did when fresh or completely change one color into another.

How many edits can I request?

We don't place a strict limit on reasonable edits. The most helpful feedback is specific — for example, asking for more greenery, less of a particular color, or an adjustment to a certain area of the design. We will always let you know if a request isn't possible with the flowers available.

I’ve requested several edits — is that normal?

Yes! Sometimes it takes seeing your own preserved flowers arranged to realize what you love, what you’d like more of, or what feels most like you. That’s exactly why we have a mock-up process.

Our artists create your initial design using your selected style and the flowers available after preservation, but design is also personal. Needing a few rounds of edits doesn’t mean anything has gone wrong. We’re happy to work through thoughtful adjustments with you until your piece feels right.

Each round of edits takes a minimum of 7 business days, so we encourage clear, specific feedback whenever possible.

We know how special these flowers are, and we hope having a window into our weekly design calendar makes the waiting period a little easier.

I’m comparing my mock-up to another piece of yours I love — why does mine look different?

No two bouquets will create the same finished piece — apples won’t become oranges! Flower varieties, quantities, greenery, colors, and how each bloom presses all affect the final design.

When looking at our past work for inspiration, we encourage comparing your piece to bouquets with similar flowers and greenery for the most realistic idea of what your bouquet can become.

What happens once I approve my mock-up?

Approval tells us you're happy with your design and ready for us to permanently finish your piece. From there, it moves into finishing, framing, sealing, and shipping. Please make sure you're happy with your design before approving, as changes may no longer be possible afterward.
