Flower Drop Off and Shipping Guide
We are honored to preserve your flowers and appreciate the care you take in getting them to us. Please review the delivery option that applies to you and follow all instructions carefully to ensure your flowers arrive in the best possible condition.
Important Shipping Details:
Do not require a signature upon delivery. Requiring a signature may delay delivery and compromise the condition of your flowers.
Ship your flowers on the next business day following your wedding. For most weekend weddings, this means shipping on Monday.
Please remove any ribbons or sentimental charms attached to the bouquet unless we have previously discussed keeping them.
We do not keep ribbons as a standard practice. If a ribbon is included and you would like us to keep it, please write that request on the flap of the box.
Select one or two day shipping only. Longer transit times may result in flowers arriving wilted or unworkable.
Ensure your flowers arrive Monday through Friday. We are not open on weekends.
Include the full name on the order inside the box. Including the order number is also helpful if available.
Do not wrap your flowers in plastic. Plastic traps moisture and can cause mold, heat damage, and accelerated wilting.
Monitor your tracking information closely for any delays or delivery issues. If anything appears concerning, please contact us immediately so we can assist.

Weekend and After Hours Drop Off
We offer a contactless drop off option for evenings and weekends so that you are not tied to our schedule. Our studio is located in a safe area and your flowers will not remain outside overnight. We bring them inside as soon as we return to the office.
Important Instructions
Please text 845-202-0566 the day of your drop off so we know to expect your flowers.
Leave flowers in the back of the building. You will circle the block via Depot Street to access the drop off area.
We typically leave water filled vases outside for you to place your flowers in so you do not need to leave your own vase.
After dropping off your flowers, please text us a photo along with the name on the order so we can match them to your preservation order immediately.
2. Shipping Kit
If you purchased a Hudson Stems Shipping Kit, please follow the packing video below. The video provides detailed instructions on how to properly wrap and secure your bouquet for transit. Following these steps carefully will help ensure your flowers arrive in the best condition possible.
If you purchased a shipping kit with a label, please note that the prepaid label is included inside the box. It sometimes settles to the bottom, so be sure to check there if you don't see it right away. This label must be placed over the existing label before you drop the box off at UPS.
1. Prep your blooms. Freshly cut the stems to fit the height of the box. Remove any ribbons, pendants, papers, lace, or other keepsakes you'd like to hold onto.
2. Wrap the stems. Using the provided materials, dampen the towel and wrap it around the stems only. Cover the wrapped stems with the plastic bag and secure it with a rubber band.
3. Secure the blooms in the box. Insert the wrapped stems into the "vase" box opening to hold the bouquet in place.
4. Add your information. Include your name and order number inside the box so we can match your flowers to your order.
5. Close and ship. Tape up the box, attach your new label over any existing label, and drop it off at UPS.
3. DIY Shipping or Label Only Kit
If you are packing your flowers yourself or purchased a shipping label only, please follow the instructions below carefully:
